Automating Review Requests from your Practice Management System
A Patient Management System (PMS) is a healthcare software used in the day-to-day operations of medical practice. It performs a variety of functions for a medical practice including capturing patient demographics, scheduling appointments, billing, generating reports, and more.
A PMS helps streamline the administrative and operations side of a business and automates most of the redundant processes associated with running a business.
AUTOMATING REVIEW REQUESTS
Birdeye has partnered with Sikka Software Corporation to develop applications that can pull patient data on a daily basis. Sikka utility provides Birdeye with a bridge link to fetch customer data from the client's PMS system.
To set up the integration function, Sikka Software is installed on the clients' server where a PMS system is already running. When the integration is complete, Sikka starts pulling out data from the clients' system and stores it on its cloud storage.
Birdeye then pulls the customer data from Sikka's cloud storage facility and automatically sends out review requests to the new customers based on the preferences set by the client.
INFORMATION REQUIRED TO SEND OUT REVIEW REQUESTS THROUGH PMS
Sikka utility pulls out the name, email ID and phone number for every patient who has seen the doctor on a particular day. In case the patient is a minor, the settings are tweaked for Sikka to pull out the guarantor's name. To ensure review requests are sent daily, the office staff at the clients' end needs to ensure that the patients are walked out of the system on the same day.
