Integrating Birdeye with OPIE
OPIE (Orthotic and Prosthetic Information Engine) is a leading practice management and electronic health record (EHR) system designed specifically for orthotics and prosthetics clinics. With features like patient scheduling, documentation, billing, and inventory management, OPIE streamlines operations and ensures compliance with industry standards.
Integrating Birdeye with OPIE will automate the process of sending review requests to patients daily. Once OPIE is integrated with Birdeye, Birdeye pulls patient information from OPIE once daily for the appointments completed the previous day.
Birdeye allows you to fetch data from your CRM using a predefined trigger. Here is the supported trigger for OPIE:

To set up the integration with Birdeye, please contact the Birdeye technical support team at 1-800-561-3357 Ext. 3 or email them at support@birdeye.com. The Birdeye technical support team will successfully set up the integration with OPIE through the BE Connector.
What is a BE Connector?
The BE Connector application is a native Windows application for all businesses. The BE Connector application helps integrate the PMS and Birdeye system. This helps you automate the process of sending review requests to your customers after they use your products or services.
An intuitive wizard drives the installation and setup process. To set up the integration, you first have to download and install the app on the machine that has access to the PMS. Once the integration is complete, the BE Connector will start pulling data from the PMS and sending it to the server for further processing. Review requests are sent according to the configurations and preferences set by the business on BE Connector.
How it works:
- Install BE Connector on OPIE Server
- Integrate OPIE with BE Connector
- BE Connector’s services will start pulling patient data from the PMS and automatically send review requests based on the scheduling configuration defined
Birdeye collects your patients' first and last names, email addresses, and phone numbers and automatically sends them review requests.
