How do I send emails via Birdeye Inbox?
With Birdeye, seamlessly transition the conversation to email when texting isn’t an option. Once an email is sent via Inbox, the conversations can be viewed within the Inbox. You can also switch between 'Text' and 'Email' modes at any point.
SENDING AN EMAIL FROM THE INBOX
To initiate an email conversation with contact via Inbox, log in to your Birdeye account and click on the 'Inbox' tab on the left navigation rail. Click on the 'New' button to send a new message.
To send an email, enter the email ID of the customer or lead in the 'SEND TO' text box. If it is an existing customer, Birdeye will show the contact under the 'CONTACTS' header and you will have the option to send an email by clicking on the 'Send a message' button.
For a new customer, once you enter the email ID, Birdeye will populate fields for you to add phone number and customer name.
Now, compose the email in the text box at the bottom.
USING EMAIL TEMPLATES
You can use pre-defined email templates by clicking on the 'Templates' button on the bottom left.
When a list of templates pops up, select a template and send the email to the customer. HANDY TIP: You can customize the template within the text box.
After the email is sent, you can view the message and the customer's response in the conversation window.
The customer can view and reply to the message.
At any moment, if you want to route the conversation to text, click on the 'three dots' beside the send button.
