How can a Contact Unsubscribe from Feedback, Marketing, Service Email, and Text Communications?
End users can manage text and email communications they receive by allowing them to opt in or out of specific categories, such as feedback, marketing, or service emails and texts. This helps improve personalization and satisfaction while reducing unwanted communication.
Unsubscribing From Email Communications
Navigate to the email you want to unsubscribe from. Scroll down to the bottom section of the email and select ‘click here.’
A new tab opens where you can opt out of all email communications, or opt out of marketing, feedback, and service emails.
Communication is classified into the following categories:
Feedback (email and text): Includes review requests and surveys.
Marketing (email and text): Includes referral programs and promotional content.
Service (email and text): Includes appointment reminders and payment requests.
To opt out of all emails, click the ‘Opt Out of All Emails’ button in the blue box.
To opt out of a specific type of email communication, such as marketing emails, toggle the switch next to ‘Yes’ and click ‘Save Preferences’ at the bottom.
Once you save, you will view the preferences that have been updated.
Unsubscribing From Text Communications
The unsubscribe option will only be included if it’s enabled within the specific text template. If included, all text communication will be stopped if a contact opts out by sending commands such as ‘Stop’ or ‘Unsubscribe.’
Alternatively, contacts can opt out of specific types of text communication by
using the following keywords:
NOMKT – to stop marketing texts
NOFB – to stop feedback texts
NOSERV – to stop service texts
