What do featured reviews within Birdeye mean?
'Featured reviews' within Birdeye are noteworthy reviews that you would like to showcase to your prospective customers. As a business owner, you can mark reviews as 'Featured' within the 'Reviews' tab. Once marked as 'Featured,' the reviews are displayed in the default view on your business review profile.
MARKING FEATURED REVIEW
To mark a review as 'Featured,' click on the 'Reviews' tab on the left navigation rail. On the next page, scroll through the reviews you wish to feature on your business profile. Click on the 'Actions' drop-down menu next to the selected review.
From the drop-down menu options, use the toggle button to 'Feature on profile.' A success notification will appear at the top.
Similarly, to not feature a review on your Birdeye profile, click on the 'Actions' button for the selected review, and from the drop-down menu, use the toggle button to deselect the 'Feature on profile' option. A success notification will confirm the change.
THE APPEARANCE OF THE FEATURED REVIEW
The Birdeye review profile displays featured reviews by default. Users can sort the reviews using the 'Sort by' drop-down to view the latest, oldest, highest-rated, or lowest-rated reviews.
The Featured sort option will show the featured reviews first. Regardless of the sorting type selected, the overall rating displayed will remain the same across all views.
