How many visitors read my reviews on my review profile?
Birdeye gives you the ability to automatically promote your reviews on the integrated social media channels, Birdeye review profile, and your business website. Once the reviews have been promoted, Birdeye tracks the total number of visitors who have read your reviews on the different channels.
The total visitor count is calculated based on the nature of the channel. To understand how the visitor count is calculated for individual channels, read the process detailed below:
BIRDEYE
The total number next to Birdeye represents the number of visitors who have visited your Birdeye review profile. Whenever someone visits your Birdeye review profile from any search engine or from anywhere else, Birdeye locks the visit and increments the visitor count.
WEBSITE
Birdeye tracks the page on your business website where the Birdeye review widget is installed. Once someone visits the page where the review widget is installed, the review count is increased.
Once your reviews are promoted on your businesses' Facebook timeline, Birdeye derives the visitor count every time a visitor visits the page for the first 30 days after the review is shared. Also, if you have the Birdeye 'Reviews' tab installed on your Facebook page, every visit on the tab will increment the visitor count.
In the case of Twitter, Birdeye captures the current follower count of the Twitter account on which the review has been promoted and divides it by 10 to arrive at a visitor count. Eg., If a Twitter account has 1000 followers, a post shared on Twitter will increase the visitor count by 100.
For Google too, BirdEye captures the current follower count of the Google+ account on which the review has been promoted and divides it by 10 to arrive at a visitor count. Eg., If a Google+ account has 1000 followers, a post shared on Google+ will increase the visitor count by 100.
To read the visitor report, click on the 'Reports' tab on the left navigation rail of your Birdeye dashboard. Once on the 'Reports' page, click on the 'Visitor report' under 'Reviews & rating'.
