How do I turn off SEO for my business' review profile?
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is crucial as it helps a website get traffic from the search engine's organic search results. The higher the website will rank on Google search results, the more visitors it will receive.
The SEO for your review profile is turned on by default. However, if for some reason, you do not want the review profile to appear in the Google search results, Birdeye gives you the functionality to manually turn off the SEO for the review profile.
Multi-location users: To turn off the SEO for the profile, go to the 'Settings' tab on the left navigation rail, and click on 'Business profiles.'
Select the desired location where you would like to apply 'Search Engine Indexing' off, then hover over 'Reviews,' and click on 'Search Engines.'
Single location users: To turn off the SEO for the profile, go to the 'Settings' tab on the left navigation rail, click on 'Reviews,' and select 'Promote on Google Search.'
You can disable 'Search Engine Indexing' by clicking or unchecking the box placed right next to 'Enable search engine indexing.'
After you have turned 'Off' the SEO, a 'No Index' status appears on the page source code. Once SEO has been turned 'Off', your review profile may still be visible on Google and can take anything from a few days to a few months before it stops showing on search results.
