Birdeye supports businesses in the following countries: the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom. What this means is that businesses in these countries can conveniently send out email and text review requests seamlessly from the Birdeye account.

Countries that Support Text Review Requests

Birdeye currently supports texts in the following countries: the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom. We will update this list as and when we add more countries to our repertoire. Using Birdeye, you can also send international texts to your customers.

Countries that Support MMS Review Requests 

Currently, Birdeye supports MMS review solicitation in the United States and Canada, as phone carriers in these countries support MMS. Please note: MMS is not supported by phone carriers in Australia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom.

Supported Timezone

Customers can select their preferred timezone directly from the Birdeye dashboard. The system automatically adjusts to the corresponding daylight saving timezone when applicable.

You can choose the Timezone from the ‘Settings’ tab in the top right corner of the Birdeye dashboard. Click ‘Timezone’ in the ‘Account’ section.

Next, select the timezone for your account and click 'Save.'

Birdeye Text Delivery Time

To prevent inconvenience to the customers, Birdeye allows you to send texts between 8 am and 8 pm in your time zone. 

For example, if your business is based in London, UK, your customers will receive a text between 8 am and 8 pm London time (GMT or BST). On the other hand, if your business is located in Atlanta, Georgia, your customers will receive a text between 8 am and 8 pm Atlanta time (EST).

Ensuring Customers Receive a Review Request Text

Consider the following points while sending a text:

1. Make sure that the address (including your Zipcode and Country) provided in ‘Settings,’ under the business profile page.

2. When you check in with your customers to send them review requests, make sure the phone number follows the format of your country. 

Every attempt is made to assign you a phone number (to send out a text from the system) from your area code. Sometimes this is not possible, and we allot a phone number from a nearby area code.
