What are the steps involved in integrating PMS with Birdeye using Sikka utility?
Birdeye has partnered with Sikka Software Corporation to develop applications that can pull patient data (patient name, email id and phone number only) from the healthcare provider's Patient Management System into the Birdeye system on a daily basis. This information is used to send out review requests at the end of the day to the patients who were seen by the medical practitioner that day. To set up the integration function, Sikka Software is installed on the clients' server where the PMS system is already running. When the integration is complete, Sikka starts pulling data from the clients' system and stores it on its secure cloud storage. Birdeye then pulls the customer data from the cloud storage and automatically sends out review requests to the patients based on the preferences set by the client within their Birdeye dashboard.
Before you start the integration process, you will need access to business ID for your Birdeye account. Every account on Birdeye has a unique ID assigned to it when it is created. To access the business ID, click on 'Account' tab on the left navigation rail and then select the 'Billing' sub-tab. You will find the 'Account ID' under the section labeled 'Account Status'
Another way to get the Business ID is to select the 'Developers' tab under the 'Account' tab on the left navigation rail. You will find the number labeled 'Business ID'.
If you are a reseller, you can find the unique business ID by logging into your Birdeye dashboard and selecting ‘Businesses’ from the left navigation rail.

Installation steps:
STEP 1: Open your web browser and navigate to - https://www.sikkasoft.com/register/birdeye/BUSINESS_ID. Replace the 'BUSINESS_ID' value with your unique Business ID. (eg: https://www.sikkasoft.com/register/birdeye/?business_id=146320329313469).
STEP 2: Once you have entered your Business ID, you will be directed to the registration page. Click on the 'Register' button to continue with the integration process.
STEP 3: Now, click on the 'Next' button on the bottom right to proceed.
STEP 4: Next, click on the 'No' radio button if you are not an existing Sikka customer.
STEP 5: Now, read the user agreement and click on the 'Agree' button on the bottom.
STEP 6: On the next screen, enter your email address, create your password and enter the practice details.
STEP 7: Next, you will get a 'Thank you' message and a 'Welcome email' will be sent to you.
STEP 8: Open the 'Welcome' email and click on the 'Sikka Utility' link to download Sikka to your system.
STEP 9: The download should begin automatically. Otherwise, click on the 'click here' link to download Sikka manually.
STEP 10: Once downloaded, locate and open the downloaded file.
STEP 11: Once the installer starts, open the "My Practice Wall" within the Sikka app on your mobile device and use the authentication code to proceed with the Utility Installer.
STEP 12: The installer will now attempt to automatically locate the PMS installed on your server and configure it's Name and Data Path
STEP 13: The installer will now download the utility to your PC and complete the installation.
STEP 14: When the initial refresh completes, click on 'Finish'. The installer will close and you should see 'Installed Successfully' notification.
STEP 15: Open the Sikka app on your desktop and as a part of the setup process click on 'Refresh Data' on the bottom right to complete the setup.
