Birdeye allows you to publish posts, stories, and reels on your Instagram accounts from within your Birdeye account. Before you create and publish a post on one or more of your Instagram accounts, you must have them integrated with your Birdeye account.

To set up Instagram publishing, follow the steps below:

Step 1- Click on the ‘Social’ tab.

Step 2- Click the 'Create Post' button.

Step 3- Select 'Instagram' from the social channels section and select the Instagram profiles you want to publish the post. 

Step 4- Once you have selected the pages you want to post on, add the content/Instagram caption you want to post in the text box. 

Step 5- Select the post type as a post, reel, or story from the Instagram post settings section.

Step 6- Add media, and once you have set the post, go to the drop-down button next to the Schedule post button. Click ’Post now’ to post on the selected social media channels. You can save the post for future use by selecting the ‘Save as a draft’ option.

Publish a Post on Instagram

Step 1- For publishing a post, choose ‘Post’ in the Instagram post settings box.

Step 2- Add the content/Instagram caption you want to post in the text box. 

Step 3- Click the 'Camera' icon and select whether you want to upload an image/video or design to add media to your post. You can upload images saved on your computer, asset library, free media, or cloud-based applications like Onedrive and Dropbox.

Step 4- Once you’ve set the post, go ahead and publish, or schedule it for later.

Publish a Reel on Instagram

Step 1- For publishing a post, choose ‘Reel’ in the Instagram post settings box.

Step 2- Add the content/Instagram caption you want to post in the text box. 

Step 3- Click the 'Camera' icon and select ‘Upload video.’ 

Step 4- Once the video is uploaded, click the ‘Pencil’ icon. Here you will get two options: 'Upload thumbnail’ to upload a custom thumbnail for your video from the system. The Second is ‘Remove video’ to remove the video.

You can also select the video thumbnail from the carousel.

Also, you can click on the ‘Play’ button to play the video.

You also get the preview in real-time and see what the reel will look like. 

Step 5- You can also share the reel on your feed and have the reel in just the reel section of your Instagram account.

Step 6- Once you’ve set the reel, go ahead and publish or schedule it for later.

Publish a story on Instagram

Step 1- For publishing a post, choose ‘Story’ in the Instagram post settings box.

Step 2- Click the 'Camera' icon and select to upload image or video.

Step 3- For example, you select an image, and once the image is uploaded, click the ‘Pencil’ icon. Here, you will get two options: 'Crop and edit image’ and Second is ‘Remove image’ to remove the image.

Click on the ‘+’ button to add media.

You also get the preview in real-time and see what the reel will look like. 

Step 4- Once you’ve set the reel, go ahead and publish or schedule it for later.
