How to View Change Logs in Automations, Campaigns, and Templates within the Dashboard
Introducing change and audit logs within the Birdeye dashboard for automations, campaigns, and templates. This feature gives businesses a clear and accessible record of all modifications, including who made the changes and what was updated. This enhancement allows users to easily track and review edits without additional support, ensuring better transparency and control over their workflows.
View Changes in Automations
Go to ‘Campaigns’ in the left navigation rail, hover over the desired automation name, and click ‘View details.’
Click ‘Show change log’ at the bottom of the page.
A drawer opens on the right side, displaying a log of changes made to the automation, including the name and timestamp.
The following actions will be visible in the change log for ‘Automations’ and ‘Split automations.’
- The user created an automation.
- Birdeye system created an automation [System generated].
- The user paused the automation.
- The user resumed the automation.
- The user edited an automation.
NOTE:
If the user deletes the automation, campaign, or template, it will not be displayed in the change log, as deleted automations, campaigns, and templates are not visible under their respective tabs.
View Changes in Campaigns
Navigate to the ‘Campaigns’ tab, hover over the desired campaign, and click ‘View details.’
Click ‘Show change log’ at the bottom of the page.
A drawer that opens on the right side will display a log of changes made to the campaign, including the name and timestamp.
The following actions will be visible in the change log for ‘Campaigns.’
- The user created a campaign.
- The user paused a campaign.
- The user resumed a campaign.
- The user edited a campaign.
- The user finished a campaign.
- Birdeye system finished a campaign [System generated].
View Changes in Templates
Navigate to the ‘Templates’ tab, click ‘Actions,’ and select ‘Change log.’
A drawer opens on the right side, displaying a log of changes made to the template, including the name and timestamp.
The following actions will be visible in the change log for ‘Templates.’
- The user created a template.
- Birdeye system created a template [System generated].
- The user edited a template.
- The user sets a template as the default.
